FAQ 
General information

This includes the facade and outdoor seating areas and its furniture.
Back of house, ceilings, structural elements in the bar, machinery, or other elements not in the guest line of sight are not included in the project. Shops needing complete refurbs are referred to the regular SP process. 

Things that needs to be fixed and are out of the Sparkle scope should follow the normal replacement procedure. 

• Lighter refurbs (surface, light construction, furniture, deko, plants)

Order process

Ordering 

When placing orders its important that you supply all the required delivery information like contact person, Delivery date special conditions for delivery etc. Orders should be placed through the webshop and is the responsibility of the PM.  

Make sure you mark your orders with “Sparkle” when placing the order. 

Order Status 

All orders are tracked through Zendesk. The Zendesk platform has been updated and is now a portal that contains all orders, statuses and conversations regarding a specific order. There will be an introductory meeting to Zendesk in early February. 

Changes 

Making changes in delivery date, order volumes etc is very time-consuming. By making changes in orders, the rollout time plan will be jeopardized due to the increased workload. Please respect this and make your detailed plan before you order

Maintenance and repairs 

Copper tops – Replacement 

If you are replacing coppertops, we have a special program for the project. Place the order through order support as usual, Write a note that it’s a replacement. When you receive your new tops, the old tops should be packed and sent back to the supplier. These tops will then be refurbished and sent out to a new shop. 

Bookcases 

If you are removing any bookcases they should be removed in level with the custom fit sofa. The wall behind can then be renovated with new decoration and a lid that will cover the part of the bookcase that was behind the sofa. 

Bar front – Missing triangles (raw coffee) 

If you are missing triangles in the bar front, you don’t need to replace the complete bar front. There are triangles available for order that can be easily installed on site. 

Module sofas 

Custom fit wall sofas that need new upholstery are ordered through order support. It is very important that you read and follow the instructions on how to measure the sofas to make sure that the replacement pieces will fit your sofas. If many modules need replacement in a shop, we recommend hiring a craftsman. 

Pillows 

Pillows are ordered in a mixed kit of 4pcs. The pillow is delivered complete with pillowcase and filling. Old pillows should be recycled. 

Carpet 

Prioritize swapping carpets. They get worn down after a few years and often need replacement. Also make sure that no carpets have gone missing. 

Outdoor Seating 

Make sure the delivery time in your order fits with the construction date of your outdoor area. Outdoor area can be treated as a separate project in the rollout, if that is preferred. 

General Lighting 

If you have decided to replace your general lighting, please supply pictures of the existing lighting.  

Guest WC/HWC 

Make sure that the guest WC is being considered in the project! 

Signage 

Make sure you checked the status of the Signs outside of the store. We know a lot of signs are broken, but there are very few in the sparkle “to do” list. 

Shop enhancements 

Entrance welcome kit 

There is an entrance kit available that consists of pots, plants and lights. This will be delivered as a kit and does not need power or other installations 

Plants 

Plants will be decided in the Project meeting for each shop. You will receive complete order information from the procurement team. The kit will be delivered with everything preinstalled and just needs to be placed according to the design plan. When unpacking plants, these will need to be manually adjusted since the leaves get compacted during transport. Complete instructions on how to do this are available in the playbook. 

Table Lights 

Cozy Table lights (rechargeable) are available for order. These consist of a battery driven light source, decorative casing and a charging plate for super easy charging and replacing. Complete order information available from the procurement team. 

Decoration 

If you need to add more shelf and bookcase decorations, this will be supplied in a kit containing several different items depending on availability. 

Trays 

Don’t forget to check the status of your Trays and order new green ones if needed. 

Recycling 

Chairs 

When replacing a broken chair, you will often have to replace a whole section that sometimes includes chairs that still are ok. If these chairs can’t find a use in the shop, consider if they can be recycled and used in another shop. 

Unusable items - Branded 

Anything containing a logotype must be scrapped. 

Unusable items – Without branding 

Any piece of furniture or decorative item that is being replaced is ok to pass on to secondhand community service, like StadsMissionen, Lions or another non-profit organizations.
